All lending conducted via Salama Cash complies with the prudential and consumer‑protection rules that govern Indian NBFCs.
We collect only the data that is strictly necessary to deliver, support, and improve the service:
Personal identifiers – name, mobile number, national ID details, date of birth.
Device information – model, operating‑system version, IP address, unique device identifiers.
Usage metrics – log‑in timestamps, feature interactions, crash reports.
Location data – approximate or precise position when you permit it.
Contact data – limited, hashed phone‑book entries (if you choose to share them).
Media files – copies of photos or documents you submit for verification.
When you install the App, we will ask for the following optional permissions. You remain in control and may revoke any permission at any time in your phone’s settings:
Camera – allows you to take a real‑time photo of identity documents or a selfie for verification.
Photo library / Gallery – lets you upload a stored image of your identification or other required document.
Location (GPS / network‑based) – confirms you are within our approved operating territory and helps detect fraud.
IDFA / Advertising identifier – enables us to present relevant service messages and measure the effectiveness of non‑personalised marketing; we do not share this identifier with third‑party advertisers.
Contacts – assists in building an accurate credit profile by analysing limited, encrypted meta‑data (names and phone numbers only, never message content).
Denying a permission may restrict the specific feature that relies on it, but the core borrowing functions will remain available wherever feasible.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only:
with payment processors, credit bureaus, KYC vendors, and analytics providers that enable the service;
with supervisory authorities or courts when legally compelled;
with auditors or consultants bound by confidentiality agreements.
Every partner receives only the minimum information required and must protect it in line with contractual and statutory obligations.
SOLEX employs encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, routine security testing, and secure server infrastructure. Only trained staff with a “need‑to‑know” mandate can view your personal records.
Depending on applicable law, you may request to view, correct, erase, or restrict the processing of your data, or to withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact getintouch@solexcmclcredit.com and our Data Protection Officer will respond within statutory time‑frames.
Records are kept only for as long as they are required for the purposes listed above or for statutory retention periods, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
We may revise this Privacy Statement from time to time. A notice of any significant change will appear inside the App. Continuing to use Salama Cash after such notice means you accept the updated terms.
